Carrollton Trojan Athletic Hall of Fame

CARROLLTON, GA – The Carrollton High School Athletic Booster Club is currently accepting nominations for the 2012 class of inductees into the Carrollton Trojan Athletic Hall of Fame. The purpose of the Hall of Fame is to recognize outstanding athletic achievement of Carrollton High School graduates. Consideration is given to athletic achievement both during high school years and beyond.

CMS gives back to county children

 

Central Middle School's faculty Christmas party focused on giving back to Carroll County's children. Rather than exchanging gifts among their staff, each faculty member brought a toy to donate to Toys for Tots. The staff donated more than 75 toys for the local collection.

BMS students study fractions, cook

Sixth grade students in Remonica Stephens' classes at Bowdon Middle School have been working on fractions. For the end of unit Performace Task, each class created No-Bake Dessert Recipes. The students had to convert fractions to either increase or decrease the recipes before they could make their masterpiece. It was a real world use of fractions and measurement. After making their desserts, the students enjoyed their creations.
