Sinusitis affects 37 million people each year, making it one of the most common health problems in the U.S. It is more prevalent than heart disease and asthma and has a greater impact on quality of life than chronic back pain or congestive heart failure. (qualityoflife.org)
This week’s featured pet from the American Veterinary Animal Welfare Foundation is Arlington. He is a three month old male Shar Pei. Arlington is VERY affectionate. He would love to find a home where he can snuggle in bed with his family and go on lots of car rides.
Arlington's adoption fee is $200. He is neutered, micro chipped, and has all of his shots.
Our Star this week is Tristan Sharpton. This 12-year-old attends 7th grade at Bay Springs Middle School where he is a member of the Junior Beta Club. He works hard at school, is a great friend, and is an excellent brother to six-year-old Westin.
Tristan is very involved in sports. Since age 5, he has played baseball and soccer for the Carroll County Recreational Department. His other hobbies are playing Xbox, watching football, riding bicycles and collecting baseball cards.
