Katie S. Rayburn

Katie S. Rayburn, age 77 of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on Saturday morning, December 2, 2017 at her residence.  She was born August 17, 1940 in Dallas, Georgia, the daughter of the late John William Henry and the late Rinnie Bryant Henry. 

She was retired from Carrollton Nursing and Rehab, having served as an LPN, and she was a member of Christway Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters, and one granddaughter, Briana Wilson. 

Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Daniel Joel Rayburn; children: Jane Lambert and Gwen Rayburn, both of Carrollton, Keith & Stacey Rayburn of Memphis, Tennessee, Kim & Curt Blair of Bremen, and Michelle & David Collins of Carrollton; four sisters: Martha Ann Jordan of Bremen, Patsy Daniel of Ranburn, Alabama, Patricia Henry of Villa Rica, Jeanette Benson of McDonough; two brothers: Harold Henry of Tyus and Donald Henry of Douglasville; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 11:00 AM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Jeremy Neal and Rev. Tommy Taylor officiating. 

Those serving as pallbearers will be Jamie Collins, Adam Thompson, Devin Wilson, Jake Heiney, Seth Lambert, and Shawn Wilson.  Interment will follow West Georgia Memorial Park with Rev. Tim Stephens presiding. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, December 4, 2017 from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM.
