Donald Lee Lathery

Donald Lee Lathery, age 67 of Roopville, passed away January 03, 2018. He was born September 14, 1950 in Lexington, Kentucky, son of the late James Hubert Lathery and Ruby Adams Lathery. He proudly served 12 years in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict and worked as an auto mechanic for more than 50 years.

He was a member of Roopville Road Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Lathery.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Warren Lathery of Roopville; sons, Donald Lathery Jr and Hubert Lathery both of Carrollton; daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Tommy Clark of Ansbach, Germany; sisters, Annette and Ronnie Walton, Cathy and Wayne Rodgers, and Linda and John Hansel all of Versailles, Kentucky; brother, Junior and Donna Lathery of Versailles, Kentucky; and five grandchildren, Cameron, Tyler, Madison, Slade, and TJ.

Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, January 07, 2018 at 2:00 PM from Roopville Road Baptist Church with Dr. Stephen Peeples officiating. His body will be placed in the church at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with the American Legion performing military honors.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, David Warren, Dan Warren, Kevin Warren, Chuck Warren, Cameron Lathery, Tyler Lathery, Michael Warren, and Slade Lathery.
