Carroll history Online: CCC-crafted chair
The camp with the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) enrollees was located on the Williams family’s farm near Villa Rica. Called Camp Lucretia, it was established in 1935 and closed in 1942.
The chair is part of the furnishings of the Williams’ family home, which was built in1892. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 25, 2005.
