Department of Driver Services (DDS) reminds Georgia veterans that driver’s licenses and/or identification cards may be obtained free for life! The process is simple; however, there are many Georgia veterans who are not taking advantage of this discount. Even if a veteran has paid in the past, they may complete the steps and start to receive this free service for life.

Deborah York

Our Star this week is Deborah York, office manager at Atlanta West Animal Hospital in Villa Rica. Deborah has worked there for thirteen years, and has progressively become more involved in animal rescue.

She recently received a rescue licence with the state of Georgia. Deborah is a founding member of The American Veterinary Animal Welfare Foundation , which features a weekly pet, here at StarNews Online.

A true animal lover, Deborah has eighteen pets of her own (all rescues), including birds, dogs, and cats. She urges anyone looking for a pet to take the adoption route.
